Mountaineer and speleologist, he participated, as a doctor and photographer, in expeditions and geographical explorations in the most remote locations of the planet: from the mountain of Asia to the Andean ones, from ice pack of Greenland to the “Hielo Continental”, he explored the most isolated forests of the Irian Jaya in New Guinea, the Borneo’s mountains, the Mongolian steppes and the African deserts, the Amazonian rainforests and central Africa.
