PANGAEA-X is a scientific testbed between geology, high-tech surveying equipment and space exploration. With the aim of advancing European knowledge on how best to integrate robotic and human operations, PANGAEA-X brings together a group of astronauts, scientists, operations experts and engineers.
PANGAEA-X activities took place in the lava landscapes of the island of Lanzarote (Canary Islands, Spain) because of their similarity to the landscapes of Mars.
